About Me

Growing up, I was the odd girl who loved comic books, science fiction, video games, and fantasy, but also loved romance, clothes, and make-up. A girly geek.

My TBR contained “Sweet Valley High” books next to Star Trek or Christopher Pike novels. It was rare to find a book that spoke to my core interests. That’s why I have been drawn to romantasy as a genre both as a reader and now an author.

Teen reading

I always loved writing starting in elementary school where I earned an award for a story about a western shootout from the perspective of a kid watching from the sidelines. I wrote a few one-act plays in college and in my 20’s I had a play produced in Los Angeles, “4 A.M.” There is even a screenplay out there that I will never share. LOL.

During Covid, I had the idea for a scene that grew into three scenes. They stayed with me and I couldn’t shake them. One day I sat down to write them but these were scenes that would take place way into a story so I built an outline. That rolled into an early draft that was shelved for a year and a half (thank you Larian Studios and Baldur’s Gate 3) and I came back to it in October 2025. My goal was to finish the first draft by the end of 2025 and I did.

2026 is the year I am going to self-publish my first novel and I am so grateful that you are here for the journey.
